My name is Cynthia Akita and I am CREATIVE. I like to call myself the Creative’s Advocate. Being a creative means that I have numerous skills under my belt that aid myself and others in following their dreams. I am a Business and Brand Strategist as well as a Web Designer. I love helping other creatives bring their God-ideas to life and walk them through the process of getting started and sustaining their businesses. I love working with creatives that are afraid, yet push themselves to make things happen anyway.
I’m originally from Bronx, NY, but later moved to Worcester, MA, and now I’m enjoying myself in Dallas, TX. I’m Ghanian, a child of God, and a music fanatic!
As mentioned above, I am a Business & Brand Strategist and a Web Designer; well, that’s just one set of the many things I am. I guess you could call me a human smorgasbord. I’m also a fashion designer, musician, and author. I guess you could say that I’m a lover of “the arts”. I’m quite crafty and participated in some art training from Elementary through Middle school and also taught it, hence the reason behind my DIY madness. I’m a vocalist (Soprano & Alto), a keyboard fanatic (although I never finished learning), and a bassist (although I haven’t played in years), but God is still working on me. Lol. I could go on and on about what I love and enjoy doing, but that would take me from now until the rapture, so let’s move on.
Overall, I’m an encourager and helper. I love to see people do well and follow their dreams, no matter what. I believe that God gave us our various talents and interests in order to influence His kingdom. Life isn’t about playing it safe, or else we wouldn’t need Jesus.
